Embracing Who You Are

Moving Forward

To quote my devo this morning…

“Embrace who you are and where you have been so you can move forward to what is next.”

Part of His Plan

I don’t know when or if I have praised God for who He has made me, who I am, let alone embraced the thought. It feels presumptuous or prideful. I am God’s handiwork though. Who He created in me and who He is molding me into should only be seen as part of His purposeful plan. I am an integral part of God’s economy and I should have confidence in knowing that. When it comes to encouraging others in their walks, spreading the Word,  raising disciples, and more, God has intentionally placed me and those in my life here.

(Read a facet of that plan in my “Unpacking Life and Faith” series)

Do Not Wait

The enemy wants me to doubt that purpose. The hesitation to use the strengths gifted to me by the Creator is cause for darkness to cheer. My reluctance to move forward with something I am not 100% sure of is purely distrust verging on disbelief. Waiting for just the right moment is not an option.

Embrace Who You Are

As Pastor Raj continues to encourage us, I am a Psalm 34 writer. My posts spout hope amid trials, trauma, and tragedy. The life I live has a purpose. Part of that purpose is to be shared so others can be encouraged to embrace who they are and why they have been placed in their moment.

Who am I to argue? So, here I go, ready to live another purposeful day, embracing the woman God has created me to be.
